1. Who we are
The FPDL app ("the App") and its web control panel are developed, published and hosted by FitResources (FZE), a Free Zone Establishment licensed by SRTIP, Sharjah, UAE, License No. 6626, Block B-B33-171, SRTIP, Sharjah ("FitResources", "we", "us"). Contact: [email protected].
2. Who is responsible for your data
The App is a tool used to run the Fair Play Development League (FPDL). The FPDL is organized by Eagles Sports Academy, Dubai, UAE. In this policy, "the League" means Eagles Sports Academy as organizer of the FPDL.
The League registers every player, team and academy you see in the App, including players from other academies that take part in the FPDL, decides which data is collected and who may see it, and is the data controller. Other academies take part under their own arrangements with the League. FitResources processes the data on the League's behalf as its service provider (data processor) and has no separate arrangement with the other academies.
Requests about your data, or your child's data, go to the League at [email protected]. You can also contact us at [email protected]. We will pass your request to the League and help resolve it.
3. How access works
There is no sign-up and no account is created in the App. When you open the App you either sign in with an access code or continue as a guest. The League issues access codes to trainers, referees, and to each registered player. A player code is intended for the player's parent or legal guardian. Anyone else can use the App as a guest.
4. Data we process
- Players entered by the League office, not by players: full name, date of birth, academy, team, age group, shirt number, playing position, any eligibility exception recorded by the League, and an optional photo that the player or parent may add.
- Name consent records: whether a parent has agreed to the child's name being shown, when, and how it was given in the App, on the League's paper form, or by the League approving a request, plus any request a parent makes to have a name shown.
- Trainers, referees and League staff: a display name. For staff, an email address used to sign in to the control panel.
- Match data: fixtures, kick-off times, venues and pitches, match events with the minute and the player involved, results and tables.
- Parents and guests using the App: the teams you follow are stored on your device only. If you turn on match alerts, your device's push token and the teams you follow are sent to us so alerts can be delivered. The token is not linked to your name.
- Technical data: standard server logs such as IP address, device type and time of request, kept for security and troubleshooting.
5. Player names: hidden unless a parent agrees
By default, a player's name is not shown in the App. The player appears by shirt number only, for example "#7", or "Eagles U12 #7" in top scorers. This applies everywhere names would otherwise appear publicly: live scores, match timelines, match alerts, top scorers and shared result cards.
A player's full name is shown only when a parent or legal guardian has agreed to it. A parent can agree in the App, signed in with the player code, after confirming that they are the child's parent or legal guardian. A parent can also agree on the League's paper consent form. Once a parent agrees, the child's full name is visible to anyone using the App, including guests.
A parent can withdraw agreement at any time in the App, or by emailing the League. The name is then hidden again straight away.
The League can keep a name hidden even when a parent has agreed. In that case the parent can ask the League, through the App, to show the name. The League decides.
Trainers and referees always see the names of the players in their own squads and assigned matches, because they need them to select squads and check eligibility.
6. Who can see what
- Everyone, including guests: fixtures, live scores, results and match events for competitions the League has made active. Tables and top scorers only where the League has published them. Player names only as described in section 5.
- Parents signed in with a player code: the same, plus their own child's profile.
- Trainers: the players of their own academy or team, including names, dates of birth, photos and player codes, for squad selection.
- Referees: the squads of matches assigned to them, including names, dates of birth and photos, for eligibility checks.
- League office: everything, through the control panel.
- FitResources: technical access to provide and maintain the App. We do not view or change League data except to fix a fault or at the League's request.
7. Photos
Player photos are optional. They can be added by the player or parent in the App and removed at any time by the parent or the League office. A photo is shown in the child's own profile and to the League's signed-in trainers, referees and staff. Photo files are stored at web addresses that do not require a login. Do not upload a photo if that is not acceptable to you.
8. Match alerts
Match alerts for kick-off, goals and full time are optional and switched on from the App. To deliver them, your device's push token and the teams you follow are stored on our servers and passed to Expo, Google Firebase on Android, or Apple on iOS, which receive only the token and the alert text. Alerts follow the same name rule as the rest of the App. Turning alerts off, or uninstalling the App, removes the token.
9. What we do not do
No advertising, no advertising identifiers, no analytics or tracking tools, no sale or sharing of data for marketing, and no profiling. We do not collect data directly from children through the App beyond the optional photo, position and shirt preference that can be set while signed in with a player code.
10. Where data is stored
On servers operated by Supabase in Mumbai, India. The web control panel is served by Cloudflare. Match alerts pass through Expo, Google Firebase and Apple as described in section 8. Data therefore leaves the UAE. The League has authorized this transfer.
11. How long we keep it
Player and match data are kept for as long as the League uses the App and for up to 30 days after the League's contract with FitResources ends, unless the League deletes it earlier. The League keeps its own records for as long as needed for records and appeals. Push tokens are removed when alerts are turned off or the App is uninstalled. Server logs are kept for a limited period.
12. Your rights
You may ask the League to show you the data held about you or your child, correct it, delete it, hide your child's name, remove a photo, or withdraw consent. Email [email protected], or email [email protected] and we will forward your request. We aim to respond within 14 days.
Removing a player's registration takes the player out of squads and future fixtures. Past results are kept so that tables stay accurate.
Deletion requests can also be made at https://fit-resources.com/fpdl/delete-data.
13. Security
Access is controlled by role, data is encrypted in transit, and match records are append-only, so results cannot be silently altered. No system is completely secure. Treat access codes like passwords and tell the League straight away if a code is lost or shared.
14. Children
The App is used by youth football leagues, so most players are under 18 and many are under 13. The App is not directed at children as consumers and players do not create accounts. The League is responsible for obtaining parental consent under UAE law, including Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the protection of personal data and Federal Decree-Law No. 26 of 2025 on child digital safety. Player codes for children under 13 are intended to be held and used by a parent or legal guardian.
15. Changes to this policy
We will post changes on this page and update the date above. Material changes will also be shown in the App.
